A love story between a Mycologist and an Herbalist led to growing mushrooms full time in Southern Colorado. Tylor and Danielle met in Denver while both going to school for Botany and Integrative Healthcare related studies. A strong love was formed for each other and for the cultivation of mushrooms and plants. Moving down to the San Luis Valley in 2019, the Berreths embarked on off grid living and working for local food systems and apothecary shops. In 2022 they pursued full time gourmet mushroom growing in the town of Saguache after realizing the potential for a gourmet mushroom farm in their region. Since then, mycology has changed their lives as well as many of the local citizens in the area from their blossoming mushroom business. They now share a son named Boletus, many animals, and a growing orchard they soon hope to have their mushroom farm located at.
